Why you should be there
One story, four ways to use it
If you teach
A working model for giving every student substantive, reviewed feedback on live performance without adding hours, and what stays firmly the instructor's job.
If you run career services
The math on making mock interview and presentation practice available to every student instead of the ones who got a slot, with progress you can see.
If you lead workforce programs
How the same practice-and-feedback loop carries over to interview and job-readiness coaching when caseloads grow faster than coaching hours.
If you coach
How a veteran executive coach put her own method into an AI without losing it, and what her practice looks like on the other side.
The speakers
Who you'll hear from

LeeAundra Keany
Executive Communications Coach, UCLA Anderson School of Management · Founder, Keany Communications
"Most executives are heard. Far fewer are believed." That gap is LeeAundra's whole job. She has spent 35 years closing it for heads of state, Nobel laureates, senior U.S. officials and CEOs, through Keany Communications, the practice she founded in 1997. She provides expert commentary on public speaking for CNN, the BBC World Service and Bloomberg Radio, and has been quoted in The Economist, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post.
Since 2017 she has taught Strategic Business Communication at UCLA Anderson, and that is where this story starts. She had nSpire AI coach every student's talk, then blind-reviewed each submission and compared her notes with the AI's. Her own practice and the UCLA career center now use it too.
LeeAundra is also an advisor to nSpire AI.

Sumanta Chakraborty
Founder & CEO, nSpire AI · Host and moderator
Sumanta founded nSpire AI after 25+ years building products at NVIDIA, Nuance, Sony and Siemens. He started it on one belief: people improve when they have a safe place to practice, useful feedback, and a chance to try again before the moment matters.
A UCLA Anderson alum himself, he moderates the conversation and will ask where the AI helped, where it didn't, and what it took to set up. Bring your hardest questions for the Q&A.
What we'll cover
Sixty minutes, in order
- 5 min
The anti-AI student
We open with a UCLA student who wanted nothing to do with AI, and what happened when she tried it anyway.
- 10 min
The bottleneck is practice
Students learn the material. What they lack is enough chances to apply it and get personal feedback, because instructor hours are finite. LeeAundra walks through what happened when students gave 3-minute talks, nSpire AI asked the follow-up questions, and she still reviewed everything. The instructor stayed. The waiting list to see her went away.
- 15 min
What makes the feedback good
Examples from real sessions: feedback that draws on the presentation's own topic, logical inconsistencies caught in real time, and skill-level notes that lead with what worked so learners stay engaged. LeeAundra blind-reviewed each submission before reading the AI's coaching, and compares the two.
- 10 min
From classroom to career center: the capacity math
nSpire AI is also in use at UCLA's career center, where students can practice with an AI version of LeeAundra at any hour. Progress is tracked across sessions, students arrive at counselors better prepared, and mock interview practice is no longer capped by open slots on a calendar. The same math applies to workforce programs and coaching practices.
